NexWave Remote Asset Monitoring
NexWave connects selected data from PLCs, sensors, meters and SCADA to a remote operating view. It is intended for distributed assets where teams need current status, trends, alarms and engineering visibility without treating every data point as an AI prediction.
Core scope
- Multi-site dashboards
- Tag trends and alarm visibility
- Gateway/protocol integration
- Role-based remote access
- Condition and threshold monitoring
- Cloud or project-approved architecture
- Remote engineering support
SMEC role
SMEC is the engineering bridge between the physical asset, OT data source, communications layer and operating workflow. Integration is defined against the installed system rather than assuming a greenfield data stack.
Common questions
Can this solution work with existing systems?
Installed-base compatibility is assessed first. Integration depends on available PLC/SCADA, camera, protocol, network and data interfaces and on project cybersecurity requirements.
Does implementation require replacing existing equipment?
Not necessarily. The preferred approach is to determine what can remain, what data can be exposed safely and what interface or edge components are required.
What information is needed to assess feasibility?
Share the existing architecture, make/model, available protocols or data sources, required use case, site/network constraints and the decisions or events that need to be visible.
